EACH HORSE IS SPECIAL
At Twisted Clovers we use natural methods that help the horse problem solve as well as look for guidance. We start slow and soft adding to the foundation we create as the horse conquers their steps to become a quiet, well rounded horse. We work on and off the ground at all angles so that your horse is ready for any environment. Your horse will be exposed to many training tools that establish trust and willingness to follow a person's leadership role. We build bonds and create a team unparalleled to any others.  We use bending and flexing of the neck and poll for a soft, flexible mouth and neck. Movement of the shoulder, barrel, and hips so we can move any body part, work with collection, and set up for lope offs. Leg pressure is used so that your horse doesn't have to guess what is next and has a firm direction to go. Leg pressure also aids in relaxing on the bit, and reliant on the rider and seat.

WORKING CLOSELY WITH FAMILIES MAKES US STAND OUT
Having the families we work with understand their horses' training and knowing the best way to get the best results is what makes our program stand out the most from others. We work closely with each family member so they understand all the correct commands and cues. Creating an easy to understand with clear command based training makes using your horse to their full potential, as easy as 1-2-3. A learning session at pickup of the horse takes a few hours and leaves you feeling in control. Weekly lessons or check-ins are accepted and encouraged. We invite anyone to watch our training sessions.
